About Orgalight company :
Orgalight is a company of organic synthesis which directly markets its products. Managed by Edouard Chauveau, an engineer assistant in organic and polymers synthesis.Orgalight is born in November 2009. This company is, presently, located near Lyon in France and has a contract with a CNRS laboratory, the LMOPS (Laboratory of organic material with specific properties), to use their facilities and their analytical equipments.
Orgalight is a company which has for principal activity the synthesis of organic molecules and polymers all designed especially for organic light and semiconducting materials, suitable for all organic electronic purposes such as OTFT, PLED and Solar Cells. But the competences of Orgalight are not limited with these applications, we also offer a good state of the art in the synthesis of imidazol based structure which has a lot of applications like in medicinal, chemical light detection or biological utilities. We have also a good experience in chemiluminescence which is used in analytical technique like the measurement of nitrogen oxide and others. In plus of these we are able to provide you a consulting to make your choice among our products, depending of your application and your specifications.
To conclude this brief introduction, we are as flexible as we can for all the synthesis of organic molecules and modification of existing polymers and we continue the research to offer you better materials for your application and to meet your interest.

A brief overview of our Analitycal equipment :
Our spectrometry facilities :
| Here is our Bruker 200MHz NMR, with liquid spectroscopy of 1H, 13C, 19F and 31P and it's preparation laboratory. |
Our Gel Permeation Chromathography equipment, with its triple detection : Light Diffraction (DL), refractometer, viscosimeter and a plus for small molecules, its U.V. detector.
Detectors are from Whyatt company, high pressure pump from Agilent and column ovens from Watters, a very good combination. |
| More conventional but also useful, our I.R. spectrometer, a NICOLET Nexus |
| Here is our powerful HPLC with a Mass detector, all from Agilent. |
| An old and classical Hewlett Packard 5890 GC/MS, an impressive apparatus to follow reaction kinetics. |
Our Thermal analytical equipment :
Here is a well known in polymerist activity the DSC 822 (Differential Scanning Calorimeter) from Mettler Toledo and its cryogenic recipient.
Also equipped with an Hamamatsu lightingcure LC5 to realise some measurement on light sensitive materials. |
| From left to right, our TGA (Q50) and TMA (Q400) both from TA Instruments |
Our facilities for synthesis:
| Large scale synthesis for common chemical reaction. |
| One of our high pressure reactor, especially for Hydrogenation. |
| Our Microwave Oven , a Multi-mode Milestone Ethos, with its high pressure reactors. |
| An other Microwave oven, but a mono mode, the well known CEM |
| One of our typical laboratory sorbonne |
| One of our purification technic: the Flash chromatography (Iterchim puriflash 300) |
| Our high preformance evaporation system, a Heidolph rotary evaporator |
A plus to our own analytical/characterization equipment, is the possibility we have to get further analyses by the SCA laboratory, such as:
- Elemental analysis
- Halogen analysis
- Metals, sulphur and more by the ICP technique (flame absorption/emission spectrometer)
- Malditof spectrometer
- NMR 400MHz
and more
